The 888 would be an awful choice for Spec Cayman as well.

GTB1 build from scratch, a top car is $150k, using retail part cost and labor.
if someone can build it for less, i would love to see and buy a few.

He should do amazing this year in it, because he is a class A driver with a well built car. Good luck bro

Not to mention the livery is insane too.

That is a valid number. Tires are $2000 a set. I generally buy one new set each weekend. Fuel is $200 ish. Crew and transport adds $2 to $3 grand depending on where you are going. Maintenance is not too bad, we have gotten good brake and pad wear, good being a relative term. If your 6 race budget can't be $30 k, don't do GTB1. That is less than I'll spend this year.

This is the general consensus amongst drivers.

With the RS1 at $322 per tire, $1328 for 4 shipped from PTS and you can add heat cycling for only $48 for a set of 4. This is an in incredible deal for a "real race tire" for a spec class.

We hear the Spec 996 guys are very jealous!

888 shouldn't be dignified as TIRE, they should all be cut up for children play ground covering.

For street and DE cars with minimal mods, these are fine. Its not good when you have a fully prepped track car where the R888s can't keep up... you need some kind of slicks for that
