Mindy's hans has the same void label and we purchased it new from a reputable retailer. Either they're supposed to be that way, or the film wears out the first time it's worn and void appears. Either way, "they do that".

I have the same one, also had VOID on the sticker. Either way the SFI date doesn't matter because there's no date expiration for FIA. I would buy new tethers for a used hans though.

Im interested for a fellow team member... concerned about the "void" stamps... what is that all about again? i have the older model and i dont have void stamps on it. curious. Ill pass the info on
hmmmm... im going to check mine again for those void stickers! weird.
looks like it only needs a new slider kit, right... .thats about $50 bucks if i remember.

Mark, both of mine have those same marking as well as a few on rennlist, and I have never thought twice about it. They have never been in any more than a rub incident. I would wear either one of mine.
