I'm a slacker this year. I'm not setting up a tent in the vendor row (but still sponsored the event) and won't be there until Friday. I will have some samples on a table in the BGB trailer and at the Friday drinks thing.

If anyone needs to find me text 303-530-1094. When I travel I port my company landline to a cell.

Regards,

Matt

Default Adv DE passengers?

I've never driven Sebring.
I'll be there as pit crew for a club racing buddy and volunteer corner worker.
Was hoping to get a right seat ride with one of the Adv DE drivers to get a feel (I'll be driving Nov-Dec).
AREthe adv DE drivers permitted to have a passenger during a run? Should I pack my helmet?

Not unless they are registered as an instructor/coach. They do usually have parade laps at lunchtime though.

That's the drinks thing I was talking about. I was told there were going to be some door prizes. I don't know if there is the usual auction Saturday night. I think this is to replace it.

Part of the motivation for it is racers get so busy they never visit the vendors during the weekend. It's usually only the weekend spectators who come buy unless it's a wear item like brake pads from Apex. So it's a more casual opportunity to see what the supporting vendors make and sell when you don't have to grid in 30 minutes.

Plus there's no night race and they wanted to give you something else to do. As the former lighting sponsor of the night race, I like many, would rather have night race instead. That race is always my favorite of the weekend.

One of our people, Daniel Stagg, will be there hanging out with Clark from Apex Performance. They're going to be showing off our AP Racing J Hook discs and Ferodo Racing brake pads. Be sure to stop by Apex if you need any help with brakes, or want to check our products out in person. Thanks. Have fun and be safe everyone!

DRINKS for sure! And, from what I gather it supposed to be a bit more upscale type of event...better food and drinks. I'm vending and driving, so I'll get the best of both worlds.

Def worth checking out this year and hopefully something that will spark a new tradition/event. Will be nice to have one night where I'm not out looking for good food after being on track all day.

I'm also going to be showcasing the new cooling balaclava we are about to launch. The first of it's kind, coinventor with Coolshirt and patent pending...pretty excited.

Race Monitor not up and running. Keep us updated on how it's going. Gotta make it down there, maybe next year.
