Default Lance Stroll

http://www.grandprix.com/ns/ns32624.html

Son of Lawrence (owner of LCMT) is moving up in the world......started out in Ferrari's development program a couple years ago. Hey, if Max Verstappen can do it at age 17........all it takes is talent.

And $$$$$$$$$$

Gary

"They believe in me to be one of their next drivers. They've followed me for a long time and saw not only that I am a good driver, but that I have the potential to win races and titles"

Lance's dad's bags of money are also of mild interest to the team...

he has unlimited funding.

The only thing that can stop him now is lack of interest.

He was remarkable at the LCMT kart track and he's done well in Euro F3, although he's shown a few alarming examples of poor judgment resulting in penalties to him and his team. He did successfully clean up his on track behavior towards the end of the year, but other FDA kids have as good or better shot (like Fuoco, for instance).

Oops. I forgot! He's left Ferrari and FDA for a deal with Williams (where his dad's money will presumably go further). Forgot about that.

Just to bring up the subject, again ...

It appears he signed with Ganassi to drive one of the prototype cars along with Alexander Wurz, Andy Priaulx and Brendon Hartley in the Daytona 24hr race ... yikes !!!

Cheers

This is a direct outgrowth of Luca Baldisseri (former chief engineer for nearly all Schumacher's Ferrari F1 career, former Ferrari team manager and first head of FDA, Ferrari's young driver development program) LEAVING Ferrari to become Lance's "mentor."

Dad has found a new way to get son to the top...

Be interested to see how many/how long his stints are.....those are three quality drivers he's teamed with.

Gary

....Dad is prolly paying more $$$$$$ to Baldisseri then he made w/ Ferrari!

I think it would be great to see another Canadian in F1.

No question he is talented. No jealousy here, just support for a North American driver!
