I saw photos from today that had some major damage around the track. Not sure what that means for the events this weekend.

Yep, looks like wind, water and reportedly tornado damage. Many of the tents and temporary viewing areas from the F1 race were blown down or twisted around the fences, but I drove the track this afternoon and the Trans Am and vintage paddocks are full.

The executive leadership may be in a little kerfuffle, but the troops in the trenches have done a fantastic job since the weekend.

Game on...

Good to hear the track is hot at least, thanks! I agree, the soldiers out there are always nice folks and do a great job!

No matter the antics of the management, the track staff at COTA has always been first class all three times I've had the pleasure of going. PCA 2013, BMW 2014, and BMW 2015.

Big shout out to the staff at COTA, somehow they cleared off the mud and debris and they were open for test day on Wed.

The media center will be open today for Saturdays party, after having two feet of standing water!!!

Right back at you. It's always nice to put a face to a RL poster. There are several RennListers that hang out at TWS, MSRH, and COTA.

Got to give Texans credit. They don't let a little (a LOT of) water beat them.
