I'm going with a long shot in Kyyat for the win. there is an 80% chance of rain for quail, 90% chance for the race. Because of the high altitude, teams are running Monaco wings but only getting Monza type downforce because of the thin air.
The Mercs definitely have Sector 1 down with the long straight hitting 225+ MPH, but lose it in the tighter stuff where they cannot use their engine strength and put on more wing.
In dry conditions, teams are having trouble with cooling their brakes because of the thin air but shouldn't be a problem if it's wet during the race. This race is definitely not going to be the norm and I expect a lot of attrition.

I say Vettel. With the improved motor and what I think will be less than 100% commitment from Hamilton (who could blame him), Vettel has a chance to take another one this year.

I had set my tivo to record qualifying on CNBC but got nothing. I really get annoyed at the NBC involvement in F1.

make sure tomorrow you set it to regular NBC and not SN!! Gotta be careful, especially with practice and qualy. Half the time it's on CNBC...
I still the good old Speed channel and Bob Varsha... Leigh may be a nice guy, but he gets annoying...at least Hobo is still there!!

Really? I always felt that Varsha was a moron, especially when it came to F1. At least when he started, Leigh Diffey was much better. If you haven't seen the broadcasting crew for Sky F1, you are missing the best commentary anywhere. David Croft and Martin Brundle are a wealth of knowledge, probably the best around, and Johnny Herbert, Damon Hill and Anthony Davison lend their own qualified perspective.

Pretty interesting track other than the lack of elevation change. Drivers are working like crazy based on the in car shots. 226mph on the straight. Yee haw.
Might get some weather so hopefully the race isn't boring.

Ferrari changed Kimis engine again so he's at the back of the grid with McLaren which including an already slippery track with potential moisture should provide some entertainment.
Is ther not a huge monetary incentive for Ferrari to finish second in drivers points? Seb vs 'pouty' ?

Bout time Nico. Wonder how much Hammy paid Seb to spin.....
Oh, and Nico needs to take a lesson from Bottas about how to keep your fellow racers in line.
