I'm waiting to see the final version of the passenger seat rule before rejoicing. I recall there being a poison pill regarding adding ballast. I think they were saying no more than 30 lbs total ballast weight can be added to car if they run without the passenger seat. This rule would make it very difficult for older 911s and already prepared cars since most of us already have more than 30 lbs added to make weight.
Final verbiage please.

Does a cool suit count as ballast? No, but it is weight.
I've seen mounts made out of lead filled pipe with the bottom half of the cooler filled with lead. Easily 60-100lbs right there that should be "free"
I suspect the struts would frown on this because lead is clearly ballast.
