They put the wrong 6th gear in the car, but damn...

And a topic we have talked about a lot here including in the Ask The Coach thread: note how patient he is getting to throttle...letting the car rotate a bit more & stabilize, so he only has to go to throttle once.

Yep. I've overlayed a lot of Jeroen's data and it is always a singular rifle shot on throttle application. After a patient mid corner.

BTW, he told me he was taking it pretty easy in the Spyder and the car is good for sub 1:20 at Laguna.

He won LeMans in the Spyder, so I doubt it took him very long to reacquaint himself. Jeroen is one of the very best and possibly the fastest 997 Cup driver ever.

How would you compare him to S. Edwards?

Silly question, but why did they build this car as RHD?

I think almost all Continental sports racing cars are right hand drive...

Sean was the only guy in the ALMS days that could ever really go quicker than him. It was one of the main reasons Henrique C. asked him to co-drive in the NGT car.

Tough to say as Edwards was blindingly quick too. Jeroen was probably past his peak when Edwards was in his (sadly brief) prime. Both all time greats in my opinion.

I do know that people involved in Supercup since the beginning as well as Porsche factory drivers openly recognize JBs raw talent.

There was a pretty good duel between him and Canepa, in a 962, for about three laps, during the feature race on Sunday. That is until Canepa's car fell off the pace and then quit on the front straight.
