This commercial makes me want to run not walk to the nearest Ford dealer. I'm as big of a Porsche fan boy as there is, but this Mustang is a hot one! I'm going to try to find room in my garage for this car to accompany the new Spyder I have on order.

along with the mullet and gold chains rattling around in the glove box...
Sorry VR, this just comes too easy.
But seriously, I do like it that Ford and Chevy are producing credible track machines. Your 'vette looked very composed two weeks ago and sub two minute laps at TWS bone stock on run flat tires are nothing to sneeze at. BTW, that sucker has bright brake lights (it's not just the camera):
The time skip doesn't appear to be working, skip this to the 6 minute mark

Yeah, it was pretty easy doing 52's and 53's while super-short shifting. You can see there, however, where I slightly messed up 4 lol. Didn't quite brake enough and had to do a tiny left foot tap at apex to rotate it a bit more

I do admit this one GT350 has nice specs compared to previous MY. And might reach out to some who never thought about owning a FORD (at least a 'stang). Will it be a collector? Only time will tell.

I just drove the "R" at Lime Rock
Car was nice over all (nice does not mean amazing)
Wheels -first OEM to do carbon fiber wheels Amazing
Brakes - very impressive Carb/Ceramic worked very very well with lots of feel. Very impressive
Handling - very impressive super neutral for a factory alignment, nice turn in and very predictable
Power- This was the only unimpressive part. I was expecting the car to impress me with power. Granted I maybe bias in that my everyday car is a wagon with 600hp and use to the 996 Cup on track but the car felt flat in mid range. Didn't have the torque out of the turns I was wanting since everything else worked so well. I can say the motor loves to rev and to be honest I could have shifted a touch later.
Over all a great track car but not world stopping amazing track car. By far the best Mustang I have driven but I am happy I have my Viper ACR "Extreme" coming in a couple of weeks

The torque vs rev trade off is inherent in the design so this shouldn't come as a surprise. See here for better explanation: http://www.svtperformance.com/forums...rank-explained
Beyond that I don't think anyone is saying it's a world stopping track car. What many (including me) are saying is that no other regular production, full warranty car has come close to this for the price. Only thing remotely in the ballpark is Z/28
