Batman died Sunday night when his Batmobile broke down on Interstate 70 near Hagerstown, Md.

Lenny Robinson, the 51-year-old Maryland man who drove a black Lamborghini and dressed as Batman to visit sick children in hospitals, was struck by a car as he looked under the hood of his Batmobile. He was coming home from a car show in West Virginia.

Sounds like this guy was quite dedicated to the cause of helping sick children. I heard about his death on the radio last night, and they mentioned that he spent $25K of his own money per year on gifts to give the kids he visited. Terrible shame for this to happen to someone like him ...

Read about this the other day and a year or so ago I think on jalopnik Coolest dude who every drove a lambo. Very sad.
