Have not been on as many tracks as most of you but that track is my far the least amount of grip I have ever seen in the rain.

Yeah, Mid O is pretty dodgy in wet weather...

Congrats to all of the front runners. Conditions were tricky out there for the races on Saturday.

I was hoping for at least a podium in the DE Cup category but mechanical problems had me driving the wife's car the first two days and only one session Sunday morning in the GT3

Due to expierence on this track in the wet and spinning in the the first sprint. We decided to save the car and skip sprint 2 to focus on the enduro which worked out well for us as we won our class and the overall by almost a full lap. My co driver Chip Herr bested his track record from fri also during the enduro with a 1:25.7!

Fantastic feeling to win on my home track after first driving it 30 years ago!! Awesome ending to a great first season...

The boxsters were having the most difficulty - lots of fishtails. The rest of you hung in there EXTREMELY well, even though it probably did not feel like it

I was in the pace car for the enduro and we crawled through Madness so that everyone could catch up before it started. Starting at The Kink would most likely take two laps.

That's because the SPB guys don't have a true rain tire

Definitely dicey in Blue Sprint 2 on drys. I made the call to go out on drys after seeing the track was somewhat drying during the Red Sprint 2, but the last turn was collecting cars right and left - Matt I hope the damage was not too bad (I was in the stands when you hit and came in - man you looked pissed ). It was also not a confidence builder on the start when the cup in front of me wagged its tail 3-4 times and almost went off at the green flag, then the P2 cup spun off in T1 and he was on rains.

Nonetheless, great weekend and great event - more people need to come and race this track as it is fantastic. I bested my fastest time this past weekend and I know two "E" cars that were absolutely flying! Congrats Doug and Jack.

^ Hey John. Yup, was pissed. Got too greedy trying to build a gap. Man, that last turn was nasty. Nasty-*** nasty. Car was fine, we used some precision tools (hammers, zip ties, tape) and got it back together. Strung the car and it wasn't out by even a mm. Lucky

And agree, more people need to come! It's one of the truly great tracks in North America.

Yes they were. Doug shattered the E class lap record, and Jack managed to take the E class win in the Enduro. Congratulations guys!
