I'm also tall so find it easier to put on my helmet and hans once in the car and strapped in (having the helmet off makes it easier to see the buckle). I usually remove them in the car at the end of a session and leave them there so I don't forget where I put them.

I did once drive out onto the track w/ the hans tethers disconnected. Now my routine is to extend my neck as far forward as possible after clipping to ensure they're attached (this also helps move the belts around a bit so I can retighten before going out).

Where is 'can't reach my glasses/dropped them on the floor loosen belts and start over' on the list.
Doesn't happen a lot, just often enough to aggravate me.

Ears plugs (duh). Helmet. Hans. Tethers. Chin strap. Then car.

My helmet is liquid cooled with the tubes running out and down the back of helmet in between the Hans, so this is the only practical way to sequence it.

I seem to be in a minority of one, but I put on my helmet first - it's a Stilo and really snug - then get in the car, then put on the HANS. I have a containment seat, center net and big Wink mirror and it's a pain to put the helmet on in the car. Helmet + HANS outside the car always seems to catch on something when I get in. The HANS is easy, pop it on the shoulders, lay the belts on loosely, and then attach the HANS - QR with sliding tethers.

Any feedback from NecksGen Rev 2 users?
My car (and driver) is DE / TT only.
996 with Euro seats and Tquipment bar so plenty of room and easy access.
I'm going to try entering car with Helmet / "hans" on, sit down, lay belts over shoulders and adjust from there.
I guess I'll figure out how well that works for me.

Will probably exit with Helmet / "hans" still on?

Same as OP. Helmet and Hans connected, put them on out of the car and climb in. Carry my gloves and put them down on center “console” area. Start car. Buckle belts, connect radio and CoolShirt. Gloves on. Go.

Same routine everytime. All gear goes on before in the car.
Driver changes then feel natural, and getting in and out (like in case of an emergency) never feels too different.

I reviewed and have heard from others it’s still not up to what Hans has protecting fore movement, but does have decent side protection.
