What was that? Kind of looked like a DE/Trackday judging upon the passenger and lack of safety equipment. Kind of looked like a race with the aggression and passing with no pointbys.

I suspect the instructor's right hand signals were very effective .

No way in hell I would ride right seat like that.

Not sure who was crazier - the driver or the "instructor".. the comments in youtube are hilarious

I wonder what the insurance for that event would run? - and for that matter, how it's even insured in the first place.

I like the comment on the instructor's Jedi hands: "This isn't the line your looking for"

Wow. It got better and better...

That "instructor" should have played the lottery immediately after exiting that car.

Wow! He wouldn't have made a lap without the car saving his *** and I'm pretty sure he never saw any of the hand signals.

Late in the video, when he's behind the red M3 with the huge spoiler, the throttle indicator is showing 100% as they come out of a the corner, but he's not really gaining and they're both going slowly. Could that be inaccurate, or does this car also have some kind of collision mitigation software running?

Also, who shot and posted this video, and why doesn't the driver grab the A pillar at any point?

Funny how all of that extra horsepower failed him a lot of the time against the GT3 on the straights too.. Doubt it has much if anything to do with a collision avoidance system as I don't think they even come with one. More likely it's the traction control or other systems coming on rather aggressively. Notice how easy it was for him have it to the floor with essentially zero inputs (notice him just letting go of the steering wheel!). I could also be totally wrong but that's just my thoughts.

Coasting through the Roval? Interesting approach. If the data overlay is correct, Spec Boxsters are carrying more speed at the mid-point of the Roval.

I echo the comment about wanting to know the organizer of the event so I can cross it off my list.
