I just couldn't watch that whole video because it was so painful but some of the comments were priceless:

The Corvette driver has two half days of experience of track time and the driver of the Porsche GT3 is a pro race car driver with a race team. You can see from the slipping that the Porsche GT3 is being taken to its limits. The Porsche GT3 driver ultimately waves us by after being repeatedly out handled and out horse powered by the 2015 Corvette Z06 Auto with the Z07 package. At the Fontana Raceway track
LOL

this instructor is amazing. no need to speak, just uses Jedi hand signals to communicate.

"this isn't the line you're looking for"
The "instructor" should have purchased a lottery ticket immediately upon exiting that Z06...
This Corvette is amazing. Somehow it manages to keep the driver from killing himself and everyone else.

Extreme Speed or Speed District?

I stick with PCA, POC and private days. The yahoo factor is minimized greatly.

I'm throwing out my communicator, clearly I just need to work harder on hand signals....they seemed overly effective

**edit** Is the radio on...Iron Eagle style???

+1. Speed District has never run the Roval, and Extreme Speed ran last November.

I have not run with SV in awhile, surprised the yahoo factor is encroaching. I have had very very few issues running with SV in the past.

On the comments (that seem to have disappeared) someone said it was a private run group at a Speedventures weekend. I have run the roval tons of times with Speedventures in the red run group and there wasn't any of this asshatery. Sounds like a private group paid for some sessions...

That guy is the poster child for why I will no longer in- car instruct. The guy in the GT3 was also terrible. After all the bad PR from the infamous carrera gt crash I can't believe that track lets an organization run like that.

Default Worst trackday (video) ever?

Just found this on Jalopnik:

http://jalopnik.com/worst-trackday-v...e-t-1712375361

This video is a bit of a "best of bad trackday" all in one session
Waaaay too much ego (both the Corvette driver and the GT3 driver)
Bad lines
The instructor is useless
two guys wearing spaceballs helmets
It's a miracle nobody got hurt

AND THAT'S WHY I DON'T INSTRUCT!

CDI must have paired this "instructor" with this "drover" as a joke, because the result is unbelievable. Without a doubt this will be a green/blue classroom video AND an instructor training video for years to come of what no to do.

I guess the mock student scenarios they put instructors thru actually exist.

Hilarious only because no one was killed.
