Let's not forget Marquez introduced a new style of riding in MotoGP. Others had to adapt this style or it was over and out for them. That was pretty clear in the beginning of his first season where he could simply outbrake everyone whenever he wanted.

New style of riding? No. He just is just better and being at the hairy edge than anyone out there with him. He is trail braking better than the others. He is getting on the gas sooner and harder than the others. He is leaning the bike over farther than the others.

Well, except for the last race.......

I think the experts (including a certain V. Rossi) disagree with you on this one.
Quite a few (Rossi, Lorenzo, to name a few) had to adapt their riding style (a style they have been doing for years with great success) in order to be able to keep up with Marquez.

Marquez takes different lines than riders like Pedrosa. Marquez is faster in the corner where Pedrosa and the others have focused on getting out of the corners faster. He and Pedrosa are especially good at getting the bikes vertical quicker than the other riders.

If you want to call changing how you do these things a change in riding style, well, racers are changing riding styles all the time. Hell, riders are changing riding styles corner to corner based on your definition. Whatever.....

It's about how they use their body on the bike, not only about different lines. I've read quite a few interviews with Rossi and Lorenzo where they talked about this.

But let's agree to disagree.

There was tire strategy in the F1 race yesterday and then there was TIRE STRATEGY in the MotoGP race with a classic from start to finish with all the top 10 riders right down to the last corner of the last lap! MotoGP is so good!!!

The Doctor played his cards right...extra hard rear, Marquez only the hard. Marquez showed some immaturity when forcing into Rossi in the turn. He should have known Rossi was going to be faster and accept 2nd place points instead of no points.

MotoGP is just badass racin'

F1 is so much better now that they put sparkers on the bottom of the car................ The new Indy Lights Dallara's are more entertaining to watch.

Marc Marquez is expected to race this weekend at his home GP after suffering a training accident on a dirt bike on Saturday and having surgery Sunday where a titanium plate was put in his hand to stabilize a dislocated 5th finger.

Repsol Honda is not having the year they expected with both their riders injured...

I'm starting to believe Rossi can win another championship. Marquez is vulnerable this year. The gap between Repsol Honda, Yamaha and Ducati has shrunk. Marquez has to stop crashing and getting no points.

So we were bound for a GP snoozer sooner or later I guess. Still been an outstanding season.

Interesting to see Dovi make the mistake which opened up Rossi's points lead even more.

I thought Lorenzo was done for but he sure did come alive this week.

Yes, very boring race compared to Argentina. Lorenzo dominated that track. Good for him.

Once again, MotoGP just kicked *** yesterday!!

Double world champion starts on pole, gets shuffled down to 6th, may or may not have a brake problem, problem clears up, starts a charge late in the race and ends up battling for 4th place with a rider who has a dislocated left shoulder -- FOR TWO LAPS. back and forth corner after corner after corner!!! Incredible battle and very entertaining
