Default incar from the Alex Job Racing 993 RSR at daytona classic

Hey guys. We had a wonderful time down at the Daytona Classic.. I was driving the AJR 993 RSR that won Daytona 24 and Sebring 12 in 1999.. We had the sister car down there also.. My first racecar was a 993 so it is always special to get back into the factory 993 racers.. esp at a car with this history.. and Grip!!

Cool!

uh oh Leh, that one handed resting driving is going to get you in trouble around here.

Very cool! Crazy late on the brakes. Amazing how much lap time you guys get out of that "old" car. Those 993's are a blast.

Couple seconds quicker than back then!

It was fun to watch, Leh. You and Coop look like you had fun. Coop's dad had fun. Alex had fun. It was a cool deal.

993 goodness in the hands of a Pro!

Any insights to the rear wing air inlet on the #22, appears to be closed of in the picture? Compare to the #23 wing is open (black hole). Is it just the angle of the photo on #22 compare to #23, thus blocked in the picture by the C-piller / blue passenger side mirror?

Thanks for sharing Leh. That car is very special to our company. Our first major pro win as a gear supplier was in that car in 1999. Alex has been very good to us over the years and it was an honor to supply the gears for this year's race, 15 years later.

A good friend of mine raced that car, with considerable success, when it was new. In fact, they finished ahead of all the GT2 class competition at the '99 Daytona 24.

One of the all-time great Porsches.
