I have a factory clubsport cage with 997 front and rear sections that fits perfectly in the 996 gt3, if that would help put you over the edge ...

It might I'm getting quite close to making that call.

Do you have pictures? Price?
One bar or two for the doors?

If you can, please e-mail to ffaust at cogeco dot ca

Could get Tim to ship if you want.

Not sure what you mean: The words seem to contradict the emoticon. Why crying if no regret?

Do you or don't you regret it?

I think that will change soon as more 997 GT3's age into a place where they are being turned into a race car

QUOTE="sbelles;11773525"]According to rennpoints, only seven K class cars raced nation wide this year. there were about 40 in J and none in GTB. That last one seems hard to believe though.[/QUOTE]

Looks like a good decision - looking forward to seeing the final result (undoubtedly going past me at a high rate of speed).

Nice Franc! Very glad you didn't trade GT for GS ... Heavy decisions all round this time of year it seems.

Maybe Jack Olsen has the right idea ... Keep it and slowly improve it
And make something of your own ... Jelli must be happy with the increased rigidity!

Thanks Matt. Scored two doors today so don't have to hack mine to fit the cage.

Yeah, when I watched Jacks latest video it rang true, and one could do much worse than to start off with a 996 GT3.

Have motorsports clutch pack, so I'm good.

Car is fully developed, only needed the stuff required for/by PCA Racing.

Got the kill switch figured out and mounted, still need to decide on the best place to hook up the Mylaps beacon.

the plastic cover between hood and windscreen is quite 'editable'
I fg'd another air intake (for driver) through it with little problems
... likely a nice place to 'sink' that wart of a beacon.

either way Jelli looks well purposed (stickers?!) and your better get ready for a whole new level of awesome.

now on to livery

Funny you should ask Dave, I found two Boxster doors that I installed TODAY. I will be able to hack away at will to make room for the door bars. Also finished the kill switch.
