Watched at T15 S1 row 12... Some exciting racing and great seats.

Perez is a bonehead- I feel bad for Sutil.

i wish the USA had V8 supercars. what a neat series.
The Supercar V8's actually did go to COTA last year (or was it the year before?). From what I could see the crowds were pretty small which surprised me but I get the impression that if it's a V8 and not turning Left all the time, the majority of US fans just aren't interested. I really expected a big turn out for them in Texas.

Agree with Larry in that the higher Aero cars just don't work for nose-tail racing but also that there were some good moments in that race. Certainly in the mid to rear of the pack there was some good dicing and of course I think Ricciardo had the drive of the day. A few very good passes and holding both Bottas and Massa off when he undercut them was very strong considering how much slower his car was down the straights than them. Vettel did well to place where he finished, especially considering how poor the car looked at various times. If Rosberg's engineers followed Lucy's and adjusted the front balance it would have been a closer finish.

+1

Nothing boring about this race at COTA. There were so many good battles going on the NBC director was having a hard time catching them all.

Good race.
