Any experience with Sebro rotors?
Given that there aren't any motorsports options for non-turbo 993's I've always used OE rotors at $170... Now I see Sebro offers replacement rotors (still crossdrilled) for $72...
Any experience with these in a motorsports application around here? 72 bucks just seems too cheap.. but I'm really temped to give them a go.

If you're cracking rotors that fast I'd look into more/better cooling. My rotors last a full season depending on events of course usually 8-10 before they need replacement. OEM are the only ones that last.

I am running my front 330 x 34mm Sebro slotted on my 997.1 C2S. No problem so far. I can see tiny lines on the surface. My drilled ones would have been started to crack. Cooling is a key.

I wish there were a slotted option.. But for my car (class rules dictate stock size), all options are drilled.
Short of fans, water, or a EVO bumper (bigger cooling ducts) I've got all of the cooling I can get.
Longevity its not <so> bad, I'm only doing 3 or 4 events a year, and OE last about a year. The problem is my local track (CMP) is hard on brakes.. not to mention the car is 3200lbs.
OE have a very predictable failure mode and cracks develop "slowly" and predictably. My concern (aside from wear) is that they will fail "faster" where I don't have time to inspect before they come apart.

If you are limited to a certain size why don't you get some custom hats and slotted rotors made up which will be lighter and once you outlay for the hats, the replacement rotors will be cheaper. Try Coleman racing. They'll make anything you want.

I can confirm that the Serbs rotors last about half as long as the porsche rotors. They seem very soft and also reach their crack life about the same time they reach min thickness. Performance wise they are ok.
