Summit Point club race open
Who's in ?
3 Sprints and 1 hour enduro.
That's a lot of racing for the money.
Dixie bones Barbecue Saturday night, all the ribs you care to eat.

Definitely in
Also got an email stating deer fencing, trees coming down, walls reworked, possible deer hunt, etc...so seems like Jens has heard to call for track adjustments/ improvements
And the ribs are pork not venison...I think

Mid Ohio 2 weeks before and Monticello 2 weeks after is definitely part of the equation. But they can't match the chicks that show up at Summit.... Here is an email from the race chair.
Potomac, the Founder's Region is ready to put on a fine Club Race September 26-28th. As a past entrant we would like you to join us again this year. It is our 23rd race and Summit Point's 45th Anniverary.
Starting August 18th Summit Point is improving track run off areas that they feel need addressed. Turn 9 tire walls will be reshaped. Trees beyond those walls are to be removed. Turn 10 and the main straight get changes as well. Deer fencing will be installed between turn 3 and turn 4. The track also has a conservation permit to remove the deer. Big changes are coming. Come see them.
Thanks for considering PCA Potomac Club Racing.

I hope the owner/mgmt of SP is really getting on top of it. Based on their past performance I'm not so sure..
