Times were **** poor but reflective of no testing and too little time on track this year. Prior configuration with 320 RWHP and DOT's was a best 1:31:20 during 2012 nationals (pretty consistent 1:31/2). Lots of new stuff for me with 80 added HP, 100 lbs less weight, slicks and massive new PFC brakes.

Friday we never ran more than 3 laps in a session before hitting limp mode with overheating. We cut some holes in the car and were able to run but the car would hit limp mode and I would have to reset it every lap (at 233 degrees it would feel like you ran out of gas).

Qualified 2nd on Saturday at 1:32 and finished second with the fastest ST1 lap time. Car would limp mode when I got close to the leading Viper.

Qualified P1 by about 6 seconds on a slick track with light rain on slicks while the Vipers were on rains. Went for slicks at race time but it started to rain hard at the start and we packed it in.

So.....very long story but we should be able to get this configuration at or below the 1:29's with this driver (me). Wheels are f...ing cool.

Nice job with the new car Mike. Great to see everyone this weekend!
