Default PCA nonsense

PCA nonsense:
Last year at Road America there were guys driving multiple cars in different classes.
So thought awesome and bought some more cars. I raced two cars at Summit and Carolina at the end of 2013.
Then I registered two cars at Sebring 2014. Nope, not allowed.
Then I registered two cars at Watkins 2014. Nope not allowed.
Asked for reason from PCA... crickets.
Asked again... ignored.
Asked again... nothing.
Wonder what will happen tonight as I again try to register two cars for VIR.

WTF?!?!?!?!??!

This winter at Sebring I ran with HSR and SVRA and PBOC -- all seemed to think it was a great idea. At some of those events I ran in THREE different cars in different classes.

Doug priceless.....

Though I gotta wonder why he can't...seems like a problem is like to have....I understand if he gets a 13 then out for all cars...but otherwise if he is physically able ...I think its awesome.

Wonder if you could codrive 2 cars....ya know...1/2 + 1/2 = 1 entrant.....

Send in a proposed secret rule change

In all seriousness...

Its the tone of the thread that I had fun with...and to be honest this isn't your first PCA bitch fest thread...having said all of that...lol

Consistency is the issue:

I know people that have done the exact thing you are talking about in the past.

I know of situations where two people are allowed to share a single car and split the sprint races(that is against the PCA rules).

I know of instances where the enduro co driver qualified the car for the sprint races(illegal as well).

Did you contact Susan?...that would be the person to talk to.

Too many times PCA is related to as some gigantic corporate entity....there are actually real people, doing real work behind the scenes.

Maybe it's a software issue. I would contact Susan. Or, you could have Sly register two and then you can co-drove the whole race.

Probably had an issue with you trying to register in both the Koenigsegg and the GT2, car numbers 3 and 5.

Susan responded to me tonight. She said that the issues were 2:
1) "fairness" to allow others in an oversold event.
2) "fitness" as tired drivers make mistakes.

And I can't disagree at all. Both points are valid.

Now....if we could only get the rules folks to communicate and respond as Susan...
