Default VIR Club Race

Anyone know if there's a test & tune event immediately preceding the VIR club race? Making travel reservations now and trying to decide how early to get down there.

Check the track calendar. Think there are VIR Club days shortly before...

Looks like VIR Club has the track the two preceding days.

Can we get on with the VIR club? I've never been on VIR and would hate to show up and race cold!

+1 same here. There is only so much you can learn in the sim.

The best thing about being a VIR newbie is that you won't miss the oak tree every lap.

It was my first time at VIR for the club race last year. Set a new lap record for SPB in the 2nd race.

You will do fine Frank.

1/2 price non-resident membership with 8-10 days year and I'm in.

If you race at this event in SP1, 2 or 3 for this event and your 944 is displaying the 944 Cup windshield banner, you are eligible to win a pair of hard card passes of your choice to the any PWC/Indy Car race this year, such as the Detroit Belle Isle Grand Prix, Indy Toronto, Indy 200 at Mid-Ohio, and Sonoma Grand Prix, and more.

To enter the drawing, email a picture of your 944 displaying the 944 Cup windshield banner to cup944@aol.com. Need a banner, send an email to the same address.

The passes provide general admission for each day of the event, access to the paddock for each day, and access to the PWC starting grid. These hard card passes are not available for purchase to the general public. Must be 18 years or older to use these passes. Passes can not be sold or transferred. Drawing will be held during the VIR race weekend.

Muller - that's one long-*** back straight. How did you manage to stay awake in the skirtster? Do you have tunes in that thing?

I just kept imaging that you where in front of me in your very own skirtster and I was out braking you at the end of the straight and driving away from you down the hill.

When are you going to stop practicing in that fancy F skirster and come play with the rest of us in SPB?

Yes, Dan, the water is warm. You don't need to keep practicing in that F class car. You can come and play straight away. That's what the rest of us did.

We know you're special, but come on now.
