Watkins Glen Club Race

After that scintillating and very "informative" 14 page thread on the Zone 8 Festival of Speed, I want to remind all racers that the opening date for the 14th annual Clash at the Glen is tonight at 10 PM EDT( that's 7 PM for you west coasters). The event date is May 30 thru June 1 with four race groups, eight sprint races and three 90 minute enduros. So please set your alarm clock for 10 PM tonight so you will not miss the opening bell..

Maybe you should reconsider the name "Clash at the Glen" some might take that literally. Thankfully, however, WGI is long tow from Southern California.

For those Clash entrants that may need or seek more track time at Watkins Glen prior to the race, Metro Region is hosting a two day DE event the Wednesday and Thursday before the race weekend. Registration is available on clubregistration.net..no 10 PM restrictions

VR, I'll be there Monday and Tuesday driving with Niagara Region, then working with Dan Jacobs and the "boys" the rest of the week. Always a great event.
