Default 2014 Indycar St. Petersburg - spoilers

Yes I know this series isn't followed that close on Rennlist
Yes the cars are kinda ugly but dare I say they sound better than current F1?

I've always been a fan and this race was very good.
Only one or two cautions, which is a surprise considering what crash fests many of these races are.

Even more surprising, Sato didn't crash or hit anyone!!

Congratulations to Will Power and Penske racing.

Montoya finishes 15th.

Was really surprised with the long first green stint as well. Looked like perfect weather too and a good crowd. Hope the new aero kits next are better looking too.

V6 turbo - can't sound any worse can the F1 cars can they? Busy day with watching F1 early this AM and then Indycar to top off the day.

Can't wait to take this bad boy to the track in a month to pit for my son...

Jeez, even I know how to manage a restart better than that. Sorry, Will, but you really screwed that up. Leader is to control the field and maintain the speed of the pace car until he sees the green.
Pretty basic stuff.
I was impressed at Marco's reaction, I'd expect him to be a spoiled brat but he took it well, I thought.

Agreed, Indy has been having issues with re-starts and I think this single file setup is not the best idea though.

Will said he didn't hit the brakes but did admit to lifting on the throttle. I agree with the "theory" he was messing with Helio.

I enjoy the series but the restarts....

Even before the cluster yesterday, have always thought the field seems really strung out in IndyCar.
