Yep, run by COTA. I suspect they rented it, for $55,000, to someone who will put a LOT fewer cars on track that day, so a win-win for the track, not so much for us

The BMW DE this coming weekend still had open spots available last weekend. Looking forward to going back.
I suppose a lot of bucket lists have COTA checked off. Demand, while still strong, appears to be way down from last year. Keep in mind that last year, demand was off the charts.

I hope I don't have to walk a mile this year to registration and every morning. That really ruined the event. They seemed to figure out that out rental cars would fit in the paddock by the last days. Event organizers, please look into this, thanks!

Car is packed, bug out in 9 hours 40 minutes. Going to be tough sleeping tonight.
Missed the March Texas Two Step at TWS this year. Going to miss the PCA event at COTA this year, but I think I can spend that weekend at TWS. COTA is a nice place, but it ain't got nothin' like T1 at TWS.

We're 18 days away and there are 180 cars registered. With Road Atlanta and the CA Festival of Speed behind us, I guess we can start the chatter and taunting for COTA now? 
Looking forward to a second year there. Hopefully, BOTH NEW halfshafts will last the entire Enduro this year. Sitting on the right side of the track at T12 track out with a failed right-side halfshaft for 3-4 laps was a bit unnerving. I got VERY SMALL in my seat and pulled the belts tighter each time the field came by!
