As an aside, Google "DP action" and you won't see anything about cars. LOL.

Only GTLM and prototypes running? What happened to the rest of the GT field?

So do I understand this right that today and tomorrow will see TUDOR, PWC, Indy Lights and Indy all at Long Beach? Can you imagine the paddock? Why not have NASCAR too?

Splendid - went online to check out streaming on IMSA.com

Available only in Asia, Europe, and AFRICA.

Whatever.

Cheers

I saw that, too. They actually allowed it initially, then closed the door during a caution. I then tried to find it on TV, but all I've found is NASCAR.

So I watched that race and I figured I'd be bored. Those street circuits are just too tight for modern day cars. It's sort of like Monaco for F1. Cool but boring.

I'm not too up to date on the behind the scenes stuff. It looked like there was only 1 LMP2 (whatever the open prototypes are called now) in the field. What happened to all the other Oreca/Nissan cars?

Also, why was it just GTLM. Did they think adding the other GT cars would make the track too crowded?

Actually, that's not all that much. In late '90's, LB was host to CART, Indy Lights, Atlantics, and Trans-Am. All of which had healthy fields.

Indy Lights has shrunk significantly lately. They are down to 12 cars and probably all of six haulers.

I wish Fox could come up with a consistent title for all the TUSC races. I have a season pass on all 3 (!) of the Fox stations and my DVR still missed the race. I don't think it's being replayed on any of the stations (I searched) and I'm not going to watch it on the computer. If TUSC used YouTube (like World Challenge) or Vimeo to replay the races I could watch it on my TV. It's been such a weird season so far and the DP rules advantages are so disappointing that I'm not really that bummed about missing the race though..
