That does not sound like fun.
I used to go to the track as soon as the season opened - like end of March at Lime Rock. Now its more like early May through mid-October.
Of course, even that can't save you - I was hauling up to Mosport end of September a few years back. North of Syracuse it started to snow. IN SEPTEMBER And I love snow and skiing, but not during track season.
Actually took me a few moments to get that it was snow; my mind was so far away from snow season that it just wasn't thinking along those lines.
Yeah, Rick, if I had any brains I'd wait, but I don't so I don't!
As I recall, that event was OK on Fri and Sat but the weather report said the snow would hit the fan sometime on Sunday so I actually left for home early Sunday morning--bad move. I was going OK, albeit slower that usual, until I hit Cleveland--from there I was cooked.

Then there was the time I was leaving Tremblant after an event and ran into a flash snowstorm on Rt 115 going down the mountain.....in MID-MAY....but that's another story.

Gary
