Default Sebring 12 hr...er...3 hr...

So once again the sports car racing fan gets screwed with TV coverage. If I read it correctly, we get 3 hrs of TV coverage, then the rest is on IMSA.com and the Fox Go app.

I really don't want to watch the race sitting at my desk in my office on a laptop, and I need to be able to record it because I will be away all day of the race. Was hoping to watch it on Sunday.

Oh, and unless you have a few handful of cable companies, you can't use the Fox Go app....

Damn how I miss Speedvision....

I bought a Push to TV device that plugs into a USB on my laptop and sends the laptop video wireless to a little HD receiver piece that plugs into an HD input on the tv because of this issue. Works. Plus I can watch my glorious track videos in HD on the 60 inch LED.

I'm at Sebring. There is a HUGE white tent with a Porsche guys all over it, an empty DHL car container, and a very prototype looking car under cover hidden in the tent. Security was on the tent all night......

I picked up the Google Chromecast for $35 and it connects the TV to your computer or laptop with Wifi. I have not tried recording with it though.

I was there yesterday. I saw them unpacking many huge shipping (air freight) containers. I tried to get a photo of the nose piece but they hustled it into the tent and out of site. It had the white and black wavy line livery that I've seen on a couple other posts. The tent is huge, takes up about 10 transporters worth of space on the Sebring IMSA paddock.

I can probably stream with the Apple TV, but can't figure out how to record on the DVR...

Thoughts??

Sounds like PMNA's large parking space is why Level 5 dropped out.

The TV thing stinks. Thankfully I can route my laptop through my TV. Have watched World Challenge and Conti that way for the last few years.

Audi is testing at Sebring too. Surprised that they would both be there at the same time.

I was at the track yesterday (but not inside) The GT 3 RSR was the best sounding car on the track.
