Anyone know what kind of car count we need to get up to to get 3 race run groups at a future race? Just curious.

Yes....

Probably another 30 race cars, but that's a swag.

Something worth thinking about. It would be great to grow the race that large and if more folks knew just how good TWS is as a race track it might be possible.

Create a class for vintage cars that don't force them into GT and a bunch of CVAR cars would probably enter.

TWS is a fantastic track, not sure why people from the cold climates don't make the trek down.

Mike Globe or someone else affiliated with the LSR Club Race Committee:

1. Do you guys know if the safety crews carry the Shock Doctor Eject inflator pumps in their kits? Planning on bringing mine, but wanted to check to see if the EMT's will carry them as well.

2. Will you guys publish the UHF radio frequencies in use by the corner workers? I had to hunt around and have a couple of different frequencies from past years. But, it would be nice to know what frequencies we can monitor on a Raceceiver to hear corner workers and Race Control. I think it was 464.1425 last year, but I'm not sure. Could you guys publish the frequencies so we can set up our Raceceivers in advance?

Looking forward to TWS next week. Long-range forecasts look good - sunny and highs in the mid-60's!!!

Toby, I am not an organizer...but I seriously doubt the College Station EMS crew has EJECT. That is typically evident in pro races and at serious pro-level tracks, IMO.

Dave, thanks. Guess I'll make sure my inflator stays in my track kit and that Todd's guys know where it is. I know it's club-level racing, but I would have thought that maybe PCA would put some in their race setups for use at the tracks. Can't imagine buying a new helmet without something like Eject or Stand21's new Lid-Lifter.

Benson is looking into the Eject question. As soon as I hear I'll let you know. The corner workers are on 461.3375

We have 106 racers registered as of today. Biggest field ever for our race at TWS. Hopefully partly because folks are learning what a great race track it is and also hopefully a testiment to the friendly and fun atmosphere we try to have at our races.

Looking forward to seeing everyone out there!

Oh and BTW our dinner this year will be at the Hilton. Should be a big improvement over the past few years.

The food, service, and setting was great at the Andy Lally event diner held there. Three thumbs up.

I'm ready for TWS and 2014. A quick local test on Sunday and into the trailer for the trip.
