McLaren is a masterpiece compared to Caterham & Toro Rosso.

Sauber is pretty good and Lotus definitely the most interesting concept with the two, different length noses.

As far the sound of an old Ferrari V12... Well, even V10s don't sound as good as the V12 did... Old Hockenheim, the first chicane in the forrest, 20+ cars screaming & approaching... Best soundtrack I've ever heard!
Inspiration for the Lotus and Toro Rosso respectively

Glad I took my sons to Austin in November so they could hear what a F1 car is supposed to sound like instead of what they are now. I had high hopes for the V6 Turbo, so far I haven't been excited.

Those noses on the other hand....sheeeze
exactly my thoughts.

the sights are far more offensive than the sounds.

Yeah, but with turbocharged motors then (until 1989) making 900HP in race trim and up to 1,300HP in qualifying trim, we could forgive them for inferior sound quality....
