Full Course is the way to go!! There was a comment in this thread about flow. Monticello actually has a wonderful flow. You just can't rush certain sections. and if there are changes- all for the better I'm sure.

Facilities comparable to Limerock? Gonna be tough to beat Limerock's Rest rooms, to say nothing of the fabulous snack bar!!

What's better, the LRP or WGI men's room? WGI has the virtue of having the trough. For heavier work at WGI, I always try to use the one closest to pit lane.

WGI, and the best one is over by the staging area for racing... WGI's Snack bar loses to Limerock's though.

They both seem to have a lot of water on the floor. I hope that's water.

WGI has hand cleaner in the bathroom!

MMC has a full-length mirror for admiring yourself in your driving suit...

Sorry Gary, members only. The bidet is also only for members. Manscaping is available at additional cost.

A couple of thoughts on this whole MMC thing
1. been there a ton. fantastic track, great pavement, lots of features and lot sof things to master. not an easy track. lots of fast stuff and lots of slow corners where passing can get done. id hate to draw a comparison but certain areas are like COTA...fast quick stuff in,get there quick, arrive slow, blast out.
2. amenities are top notch - they spent a ton on it, and its super nice. not sure how many racers they can accomodate but id imagine it will be a small-ish event like LRP, plus there are about 15,20 members who are pca porsche guys who will be there, so shoul dbe fun.
3. serious dudes belong there. they dont bring cologne. they bring super nice cars. Dyson racing, Deman Motorsport, Speedsport, HRD, ZSA, protosport, and dozens of other shops have tons of great drivers, great cars that go there.

if you've never been, go. and if you've been in the past, and not in the last year or so, go again. they've really stepped up their game and invested more and more into top infrastructure. shops like deman and speedsport can ensure youre day isnt toast when someothing pops.

its a cool place.

We were up there Friday going over details and to get a few answers on how to organize the event. There are indeed some very nice cars there.

Yes, it is a top notch facility. They continue to add to/improve the facilities.

The current plans are for a smallish event with three race groups. My understanding is there are approximately 20 members that currently compete in PCA club racing.

And you are correct.... it will be fun.

National (Bryan and Vicki) are looking into a few things.... once they do we'll get back together and put a schedule together.

As soon as national says we can release info we will.

Marty Kocse (RTR track chair) will have info on the RTR web site. And of course he'll contribute here as well.

We're less than four months out, who all is planning on going?
