Default Track Wheels: Fikse or Formula 43

Listers,

If you had to choose from the following, which would you buy for your 964 for track duty?

Fikse FM 10
Fikse Profil 10
Formula 43 Rad 20

I have always liked the Fikse wheels, but there are some small details of the Formula 43 design that I really like from a maintenance perspecdtive.

Are there any other similar wheels I'm missing as options? They need to be 18", 8" fronts and 9" rears, and with 964 C2 workable offsets.

Thanks,
-Skip

formula 43, however, you might look at forgeline as well. comparable, supports racers.

Forgeline makes great wheels

They offer great support as well

CCW has fantastic customer service.

CCW has some new designs that are pretty sweet.

Look at Jongbloed too, the new 557 would look great on a 964.

I'm surprised there haven't been any Fikse recommendations.

Still looking and thinking about the CCWs, but like the Formula 43 R20 a lot.

Fikse's are good; Forgelines for racing. The guys there are racers and they support Club Racers.

I have a set of Fikse FM10.
I broke a center and it took 2 months to receive a new one...
Next set will be CCW or forgeline.

HA, so not just me then.
in two months, i would have bought and sold a dozen race cars. i have no patience to wait for wheel center for 2 months. CCW cuts my wheels in 3 days.

forgelines and it was a the sun beaming through after a winter storm. blissful. i really love the forgeline products, i thin kits the 3GAR race wheel we use on our rolex cup, the boxsters, the cayman, it works great, they send out replacement bits like next day. very strong and looks great.

my cayman had formula 43 wheels and theyw ere more simple, not as aesthetically attractice as the forgelines but bullet proof in my ownership of them. never had a failure so dont know their time lines for sending otu replacement bits.
