I wish I could find that photo of a McLaren F1 parked next to a Miata.

was amazed at the small size of these cars while attending the museum at Le Mans......simply outstanding!

I walked up to a 917/30 (My fave, of course!) at Laguna once, and got the chills realizing the reality of the size/speed combination. It's like a slightly oversize go kart.

Even more respect for those who drove them.

They are very LOW. My kids standing next to one at the Simeone museum in Phili, which is a must see if your in the area. The 917 is barley taller then my 10yr old daughters navel.

sat in one, actually a exact replica, a couple months ago...very small cockpit compared to the overall body...love them!
