Fast IS pretty.
I haven't been to VIR in 6 or so years.
New car, 1st event of the season, haven't driven track since before the Great Recession - what could go wrong?

Thanks for the kind words (I think they were kind, or were they of the 'great, now look what I am going to spend?!?!' variety).
I believe it is an imperative of mine to help others spend their final dollars on track-related items and events. ......I hope I like driving it!

Did you go full ITC Build?

PDK is certainly the hot build right now. I enjoy the art of the manual shift so stuck with that. Of course then I went and hit my knee with a tennis racquet. Still sore after 2 weeks but no lingering damage. Still, if I can't press in the clutch pedal, I'll be some kind of pissed.
Oh, I won the tennis match.
Car is ITC inspired but not identical. Real close. I'd have to think through what we didn't do, but it wasn't much. Spencer can tell you (also, he's also real smart about PDK).
You do not want to be 'Porsche-less;' it is just not right.

Hi Matt
That is a pretty Cayman you have there. I looked at pictures of it when we were trying to find the right livery.
Looking forward to seeing it in person.

Can't wait to get back there for the DMTD and then I will back there again for the PCA race.

2:09.46 at Watkins Glen with a passenger and almost empty fuel tank at its first real event. New Cayman pal Jonathan was doing 2:07s so I have a ways to go.
The car has a bit of understeer (noted by Spencer and by Peter Argetsinger) but for now I'll leave it in.
Car is wonderful; just what I was hoping for.
