AVERAGE AGE OF TRACK DRIVER?

51 now, 1st SCCA license right on 30 years ago in a borrowed Showroom Stock RX7 then my own ITB Scirocco. No Porsche marque racing back then, but I'd use the 911 for local (Arizona + So Cal) DE/Time Trials.
Fits and spurts over the years. Most of you it was family. Me, starting businesses or financing my education would have me parking the cars for extended periods of time.
Wish I'd done a lot more, mainly in open wheel. But no regrets. Definitely feel I suck at my age now, and am getting back into golf.

Anyway, unless someone is going to fund a build and operation, it's tough to be out there on track when there's little money anymore. (Though I might have the vending business sold, and it's time to close the call center. But no way are those proceeds going into track events to the tune of more than $2-3K/yr.)
