+1. On both accounts. Congrats, I've been trying to do it for 2 years, but that's another story.

Said local 944, assuming Chris is talking about the black S2 being sold by the Peachstate CDI is a well sorted car that has just has been gone over to make sure all issues are sorted out. I think he posts here as db944? Would certainly recommend looking at it.

Oh, and Jenk, whatever you do, don't get a turbo.

Thanks guys, yea it would've been nice to had a tad bit more power. There was another sp2 car there that was an '89 with the 2.7 liter and even if I got a better run out of the corner he would pull away quite easily. I was in a an '86 2.5L

Mike, well done!
How many "catches" did you have for this "game"?

No catches in the video.

Congrats, Michael. You drove great all weekend.
How did you work your pit stop strategy in the enduro?

Congrats and welcome to the dark side!

Straightline speed is overrated!!! You'll be in a Spec Miata before you know it....... LOL

Enduros can be a lot of fun, great way to learn a new track and get valuable seat time.

I had to catch the car a few times over the entire weekend and had a few bloopers getting adjusted to a new car. I actually was sharing a pit spot with a guy next to me in the paddock. So I can in at 50 min and he came in a tad bit later before the pits closed. I felt great during the entire enduro. It was crazy to see the closing speed of cup cars whiles in in the 944

Valuable seat time was huge for me

Great job Michael and great to see you again!

Very smooth driving and perfect execution of the kink. Not a lot of people get the kink right. You can get a min speed of 98+ through there by getting it right and gain a second on most.

Welcome to the world of momentum! You can do your taxes on the back straight at Road Atlanta with these cars.

Mitch Richard is also the National 944 Cup Champion this year and would pull away from most other 2.7L's as well. Great car, great driver.

Yea I got to talk to Mitch for a while, great guy and came all the way from Louisiana to make sure he got the championship. I kept him behind me for 4 or 5 laps in the 1st sprint race, but once he got on my bumper it was over
He won the race but I did get him on fastest lap I had no idea if he was really pushing since there was no one there to compete with him besides me in class

Great news Michael. I love seeing folks move from a fast car to a slower one like you did. I should have done that when I started.

Bring a car to TWS in March for our club race. You know the track already and it is a great event. If you go SP1 I would guess we will have 8-10 cars in class.
