I've run them back to back as well.
Not bad at all. Especially for that many HC's. Thanks Dave!

You running the boxster next weekend?

They are that good. My friend and I both compared relatively fresh R6s and C. 51s at the SP club race(( both had 2 heat cycles) and the times were within 1/2 sec, he was actually faster in the Hankooks. As far as how long they last, can't comment yet but all the other reports are that they last longer. They are hard to find as supply seems to be low.

245/40/17 is a very popular size for the BMW crowd & Tire Rack is the Sponsor for our series and the exclusive distributor for the tires. THIS is why they are always out of them... When available I buy them 2 sets at a time. ($800/set)

We are thinking about it. If we do than run the car in G class and put DOT tires on. That track is so hard on tires though. These hankooks might be a good way to go price wise if we are just going to burn them up anyway. Im worried the softer fronts wont hold up. The conti's we use in ST didn't last a full sprint race last year.

Yep, mine didn't last long either. In fact, that's why I did this post. One race and hoosiers were shot. I'm going to run junk and then run the hankooks for qual and the 2 sprint races. It will certainly be a good test for them.

Try BFG's. Better price than Hoosiers. Same speed and in most cases longer life, with a more gradual drop off. Oh and we have the best prices in the US shipped....not too mention we are the track support for the BMW Endurance series.......We heat cycle also. Check us out.......
