Looking at my video, I am following the contour of the track well before turn in.

Thanks for the info.

Here is a lap from RA last weekend (not me driving). The camera is the new AIM Smarty Cam HD. The video is not as good shown on YouTube. I was really impressed with the stability of the image over the turtles etc.

Got my race license.
Never drove other cars on track except for the cars in my signature in DE.
My rental car was pretty silent, I tried squeaking tires a few times to make an impression but it did not work. That's about the extend of my race craft LOL.

VBox:

After 23:00 the cars in front of me are very entertaining while I play camera car.

Great videos everyone! Doug absolutely kicked butt in G, congrats on the track record. It made me realize that I am going to have to quickly get back on the saddle to compete with you in G next year! It was unfortunate that the whole incident in turn 1 happened. Watching the video back now it looks like it really was slick. I wonder if you can send that to the scruts and make sure they reverse their decisions. I do not think one can blame you for the spin if the track was oiled.

Mo, sorry about your brake problems. You did pretty damn good for your first race in the new car. I like it, someone to keep me on my toes.
I'm sure we'll have some fun next season.

I am planning on appealing, seems like there is enough evidence that something was amiss.
Had a few other guys email me about track conditions.
We'll see how it goes.

The red sprint race #2, in the wet ...

like every race for the weekend, the back of the pack did not form up well. It worked to my advantage when I heard "green, green, green" over the radio.

^ That seems to have been a common theme; must be the second tier, concrete curbing at RA...

I broke the rear left axle nut => caused the ABS to malfunction => caused left front lock up at T1 and flat spot through steel belt => caused loss of steering (made worse by the fact that I didn't realize what was going on) => went straight off through kitty litter, which BTW doesn't slow you down near as much as you would think => ended up in tire wall, and experienced first hand the very effective track crew ==> which is now causing me to ponder whether or not I should convert Jelli Bn to a full race car

In the mean time, and in case anyone has one, I need a front bumper skin (996 cup).

Forget the flat spotting and ABS issues, your lucky the brake caliper held your disk which was the only thing that kept your wheel on.
