Default Looking for Roger Penske

The 944 Cup Wants You for the 8th Annual 944 Cup Nationals

Registration is open: http://clubregistration.net/driver/e...?event_id=5361

When: The 8th Annual 944 Cup Nationals will take place on October 4 & 5, 2013.

Where: The event will be held in conjunction with PCA at Daytona International Raceway in Daytona, Florida.

Who: Racers must participate in two 944 Cup regional events prior to Daytona and display a 944 Cup windshield banner to be eligible to win a National Championship title. Any properly licensed racer with a legal SP1, 2 or 3car will be permited to register and race during National Championship weekend.

944 Cup National Championship Format

Finishing position of the final race on Saturday, October 5, determines the National Champions for both the Cup class (SP1/2) and Super Cup (SP3).

The two Saturday races at Nationals will also count as a points races towards regional championships. Finishing position within chapter determines points - 40 points max for each race [e.g. 4th overall but 1st in chapter = 40 points]. Drivers must have raced in at least one regional race in a chapter to accumulate regional points for that chapter at Nationals.

Thanks for the exposure, DD, but from that recent Pano feature one would never even know that the two-time and current National Champ even exists, let alone was there.

Is there a common theme developing here on the article of "what about me".

So many good things to say about Mr. West's and Mr. Chemet's effort. On behalf of the series and all its drivers, thanks to the Pano editor and other PCA officials for featuring this great little race car, which found its way from the junk yard to the track some 30 years after becoming the marque for the first ever one model Porsche race series ever.

Come down to Daytona and join in the fun.

Yes DD, we get that. Just kidding around with it. If we can't do that here, of all places, then where?

Although I hope to get there, Michal, I take it one race at a time.
T-bolt this weekend.
Then Summit Point.
You got room in a transporter?

Anyone interested in sharing a 4-car trailer to Daytona for Nationals from North Jersey?

Frank: While I would fully expect you will be at Daytona to defend your Championship title , if not by some chance, I will need for the Cup perpetual trophy to either be delivered to Nationals with another driver or shipped to me no later than September 15th. The 2013 National and Regional Cup champions will be crowned at PCA's Saturday Evening Banquet . Thanks

Dave, Team Comat is working hard on repairing our team car to deliver the 2012 Championship 944 Cup trophy to Daytona for whoever wins it in 2013..... we can't just give it away
