Geez Matt, good question. The 32 Gbit card left RA and flew directly to Austrailia so I can not check. I still have the camera, I'll put in my car and go for a ride.

The new HD camera did not pick up data with both connected. They did both receive a signal to start recording from the ECU though. The rest of the weekend I used the new camera and did not use the data hub. As soon as I hooked up the HD to the ECU bridge without the data hub everything worked fine.

Matt
I used the SC HD as stand alone and Race Studio did not find any data, so I'm guessing the data on the memory card is transmitted from a logger and not created within the camera. Maybe Josh can confirm.

Here is a video clip from the new HD camera at Road America. I'm struggling to find a decent video editing software. The actual video is better than seen on YouTube. The stability of the image is the best I've seen on any system. The camera is all aluminum and extremely well built. Truly looks and feels very professional. The lens was wider (84 degrees) than the prior camera and I like it. The manual says that it will be available with 67 or 84 degree lenses, however, I was told that we'll only see the 87 for the near term. I'm confident that the cameras will be available next week.

I used one at Monterey, Lime Rock last week and at the Glen yesterday.
Can confirm there is not yet data file transmittal to the camera card. Can confirm Jerry's observation that the image quality, auto exposure and sound is very good.
They'll ship when we get them...

Nope.
Depending on who you talk to, they're either on their way to the US or already here but cannot be released (to the dealers or for retail sale from AiM Sports in the US) until the software has passed final approval.
I know it's close because AiM Sportline (in Italy) HAS released the firmware upgrade for ALL of their compatible loggers and accessories that includes instructions to allow interaction with the SC HD on their website, dated 9/3/13.
I have VIR and the Glen this weekend, Road Atlanta next weekend and VIR the following weekend that I have people chomping at the bit for...
Keep your SD until you have it in your hand.

Bought a Replay 1080 and some accessories yesterday, would like to use it for forward view. Would the SmartyCam work properly facing out the rear or will all my G's and speed be reversed? I would disable the overlay either way.
Also, anyone using the Reply's external mic and if so, where did you place it?

Replay is great. Yes, SC works fine pointed out the back. G's reversed.
Yes, only way I use the Replay is external mic. Under the dash, out of the wind.
