Vintage Racing at the Hawk (w/video)
I brought out my Sunoco tribute 944 to the Hawk at Road America last weekend. An amazing event - 460 race cars, a police escort down the streets of Elkhart Lake, and lots of race car eye candy. The racing in Group 8 was anything but tame, though - lots of LOOK OUT! moments!

I also raced in Group 8 and was surprised by some of the downright stupid moves of a few of the drivers plus the ever present "vintage racers" who frankly shouldn't be on the highway, let alone a race track.
The two cars on the front row did synchronized pirouettes in turn 6. If I hadn't been so busy avoiding them I would have applauded
