Someone at NBC sports needs to get a clue turned on the TV cup of coffee in my hand hit play on the DVR for Silverstone & some asshat on NBC sports is running silverstone highlights from this morning prior to the broadcast @ the end of the tour de france broadcast.

 

I was thinking the exact same thing!! Wtf?? Highlights BEFORE the broadcast??

Yea absolutely dumbass thing to do, waiting for the race I couldn't get to the remote before they had flashed the winner and significant race highlights right before race! WTF! Could you imagine them doing something like that for an NBA game?

When I saw the update Assclown come on I change channels so there is no chance of spoiling the event.

 

Yup. Broadcast started late due to TDF I think. NBC decides it'd be really funny to pre-empt your DVR with final race results. Brilliant.

 

Race was broadcast live on cnbc.

 

Got me too. That said, I had no idea what was about to unfold.
