Both of my Stand21 ST3000 suits are the original Porsche Motorsport "Blue Swirl" suits (from the 911 GT1 livery for Le Mans in 1998). Essentially white with blue and red trim. Can wear them all day without getting overheated. The breathability of these suits is simply incredible. Monsieur Morizot and his team are really focused on delivering high-quality, SAFE racewear.

Fatbillybob, there is no internal hoses with the air force suit, it allows fresh air to come in and helps push out the heat, in one car i run the air from a naca duc (sp?) through the cool box to the suit and helmet .
I also use the cool suit top.
Its three different connections I have to worry about in the event of a fire, but it's well worth it to me.
BTW if anyone can fit into one of Glen's suits, BUY IT

You'll need to call Stand21 for their pricing. Matthieu Hayaud runs the West Coast offices and is VERY helpful.

One thing still perplexes me: Who buys a BLACK (or any dark colored) racing suit and why? If I'm going to spend a day at a hot track under a hot sun do I want to soak up all that sun heat into my body or reflect it away by wearing a light-colored preferably shiny suit (stains be damned)?
I only wear my suit while I am in the car. I put it on just before I go out and take if off right after I come in.
If I were running around out in the sun with my suit on I would considered a lighter color suit.

Scott, fair point on the black suit. Where did you find the Superleggera M-9 for $1600?

I've switched same suit from dark blue to white and the difference was significant in car.
As for keeping clean. It's pretty easy. Don't work on your car in your suit and make sure your seat is clean before you sit down.

They just don't get it. Even in a car with a roof you still get sun coming in the windows and heating it up.
