Order of Operations - what modifications come first for converting to a track car?

For your first solo you're right on the money. Smooth inputs, hitting all of the turn in/apex/track out cones (you're holding the DE line nicely for a first timer), and most importantly - having fun.
Hard to tell from the video, but it does look like you could take more looks to see what is going on further along the track. There were a couple turns where it looks like you may have been really focusing on the apex cone and not lifting your eyes off the track immediately in front of you and taking a look at what was happening at track out. It takes a lot of concentration to hold the DE line when first starting, but you really need to force yourself to lift your eyes off the rear bumper of the car immediately in front of you and take a look at what's coming up just in case you need to take action.
