i am one of those guys that enjoys working on the car as well as driving it. this particular car is already basically a race car. the only thing missing is the cage & a fire system.

"Air bag" sounds so innocuous.

They should be properly termed 'sodium azide explosive devices'. Then see how many people think it's a good idea to sit right next to several of them! Gotta love government mandates. . .

Hmm, for a DE only car, GT3 with roll bar, seats, harnesses and HANS would you pull all the air bags out? Seriously considering it. Seats are are factory with air bags.

Think about this

Watch a video of a head on crash and the amount a seat belt stretches

Now think about why anyone would wear a full face helmet in a car with a airbag
