Former Vendor
spent some time in a 962 and the Brumos 935.
they are ridiculous machines. just absurd. the 962 was that smidge more containable than the 935. you felt safeer in the 962 and the cockpit was super comfortable. it was a pretty high downforce car that would grip like a good prototype should.
the 935 was another universe. you had to go thru the "big man big ********" xray machine before getting in there. i think there were oil lines and stuf that ran through the interior if i recall. spartan interior. and that thing when you'd step on the throttle would just rip like crazy. i remember driving like 4 installation laps and getting out and having to go splash water on my face before deciding if i was going to get back in and get on the thing. i got back in, but i never really got on it, got on it. the motor on that thing would power a humvee.
porsche really had some wicked machines in its past. the 993 GT2 EVOs were ridunkulous. neither were nearly as driveable or inspiring as a modern cup car...but they tested you for sure. sometimes i wish i had been into the sport in the 80s and 90s and stockpiled those race cars to bust out at HSR or PCA races.
