Callas Rennsport may be closer to you, top notch service as TRE too.

What are their rates? I drive far into OC for my car... Very hard to find honestly AND fair rates consistently... First visit is nice but a lot of them want to get you afterward...

I like to do basic maintenance on my own as I watched many mechanics on the car... Getting more confidence that it is not much different than wrenching on any other cars. Just the engine is in the back and it is a tight fit =)

I only have about 7 days of track experience in my life. Speaking with Dave at Poc about my experiences, he says he will put me in white. I don't care what group I am in as long as it is a great learning experience and I get to meet cool folks out there.

A friend of mine brought his 996TT and 997 GT3 to Callas about 95% of the time, and always got great service and fair pricing.

I do not do much of anything to the car myself anymore, my indy goes over everything under the car to make sure all is good and tight.

Your good attitude is a great way to learn. There will be always someone faster.

Franks a great guy! We used to race Rotax karts together and I'm sure he's set the car up to work well. Also know Mark who built the car. If it says "Kinninger Built", you know it's good!!!! Enjoy it in good health

I still cannot sleep well the night before a track day. Too excited.

Waiting for some suspension work to be completed before I sign up.

Pretty sure Eric, the PDS chair, posts around here. Maybe he'll weigh in.
Yes, we'll allow better equipment for the instructor assuming everything is installed correctly. The car is modified enough to require some safety equipment but we allow students to run their first two weekends with stock components to see try out the track and program and see if it is something they want to commit to.

Glad to see you found yourself a good car and decided to join us this weekend! Let me know if you need anything leading up to or at the event

Excited to see some new faces this weekend! You guys can all feel free to shoot me a PM or email about anything you may need leading up to the weekend. It looks like we are going to have a good turnout.

I've got an OK to run some "fun races" in the afternoon each day for the advanced open passing group so stick around for a taste of what the POC can lead to later on! We can offer basic instruction and track days to race licensing and some great wheel to wheel action.

In my case, fast car with a slow driver.

Congrats on the Cup car.
