Now, that's what I call plenty of options... I'll work on that. And if I have a bit of time, I'll post part of a video of a race in the rain and the poor visibility I had.

Thanks guys

IMO, THIS is the way to move some air:
Amazon.com: Rule 140 Marine Bilge Blower (3-Inch, Inline): Sports & Outdoors Amazon.com: Rule 140 Marine Bilge Blower (3-Inch, Inline): Sports & Outdoors

Not hot, but does a surprisingly good job even without, if you can just duct the air properly. Also quite light, not bad for current consumption.

We've used these to great success in the rain. Now we use it, along with a CoolShirt, to keep the driver cool during hot races. She calls it her AC system...

Anyone know what the weight savings is of removing a heater/defroster to a 996 ? I need to lose weight but am weighing the savings. I have enjoyed having the defroster but I have only had to race twice in rain last year.

I have the heater case out on my 996 track build. I will weigh it and let you know. I am deciding weather or not to remove the case myself. Weight is not an issue as I will be running in H stock.

A buddy of mine discovered that 12 volt hair dryers that truck stops sell make great defrosters. Worked so well that he went back to the local truck stop near Sebring and bought all they had so the competition couldnt get them.

I havea 944T and use the regular old shaving cream on the inside. That combined with a small amount of air and I have never had any problems, even during an enduro.
