Thanks for the video, Ron! Another view of the mid engine 911 getting whacked...

You are crazy fast in the downhill, wow...

Thought you would like that! I had a birds eye view.I was just glad not to be part of it.That was one screwy qualifying session.

Wow, that sure was an ugly crash!

Ron, I am not Peter Krause, sorry. However, I hope you are still open to some observations. First, it looks like you are adding a lot of drama to the chassis with th esteering wheel nearly everywhere. I am seeing the wheel moving a lot back & forth, and the hood is moving too, so the car seems a bit unsettled. I can't tell if the car is not working well & you are catching it, or whether you are causing it, but IMHO it is killing your time in a lot of corners. And, venturing furtther, it is the direct cause of your self-critique of "I could be on the gas earlier every where". You're not on the gas sooner because the car is moving around too much to take throttle.

Also, on the Downhill, it looks like you are upshifting at the end of track out. IMO again, do your upshift uphill from there, as you turn in. It not only aids turn in for the Downhill when you lift for the upshift, but the car will be much more settled (and thus able to take a lot more throttle) all the way down the hill, compared to being 7000-8000 and very twitchy in the lower gear.

Thank you for your input. I see what I can do next time out.I am in 4th gear down the hill .5th would never work in my opinion ,But I will try it based on your opinion /advice.
Thanks Ron

Well you may be correct, Ron. However, the fact that you are upshifting at track out tells me it will work, and would likely be faster. it will SOUND slower...but will BE faster. And, it will help you turn more easily, with more throttle position for more real estate from the start of the Downhill all the way to start/finish.

What do you mean here by "more real estate from the start of the downhill all the way to start/finish?"

Short shift it so the car is not under uneven throttle loads in the skittery part
